Dr. Emira Mehinagić
Sensory Manager for Diana Pet Food since 2015, Emira is an accomplished professional with over 15 years of experience in Consumer and Sensory research.
She is in charge of basic and applied research on Behavorial Science and to promote successfull development of new palatability enhancers in abusiness-to-business
environment. She focuses on the development of innovative tools and methods to measure pet food performance and to study cats’ and dogs’ feeding behavior and
interactions with owners. Emira received her doctorate in food science and technology from Nantes University in 2004. Between 2004 and 2009 she did research at the
University of Food and Agriculture in Angers, France, as an Associate Professor. Her research has been focused on human chemosensory perceptions and understanding of
their preferences. She has published 25 papers in scientific journals and is the author of several popular science articles and textbook chapters. In 2009, she was named head
of a pluridisciplinary research department GRAPPE from Groupe ESA.
