Dr. Giacomo Biagi
He
graduated

honors

Veterinary
Medicine
in
Bologna
in
1994.
He
served
in
the
Guardia
di
Finanza
with
the
status
of
Veterinary
Lieutenant
between
April
1995
and
1996.
In
2000,
Ph.D.
degree
in
"Qualitative
improvement
of
food
for
humans".
Researcher
from
2001
and
associate
professor
since
2010
at
the
Department
of
Veterinary
Medical
Sciences
of
the
University
of
Bologna
where
he
is
responsible
for
the
Service
of
Animal
Production
and
Food
Safety.
He
is
the
owner
of
several
courses,
including
those
of
"Nutrition
of
companion
animals"
and
"Breeding
of
companion
animals"
for
the
degree
in
Veterinary
Medicine.
Since
2015,
he
is
a
member
of
the
FEDIAF
Scientific
Advisory
Board.
Since
November
2017,
he
is
President
of
the
Italian
Society
of
Nutrition
and
Animal
Nutrition
-
SIANA.
He
is
