Šuran
works
at
the
Department
of
Pharmacology
and
Toxicology
at
the
Faculty
of
Veterinary
Medicine,
where
she
teaches
Veterinary
pharmacology.
Her
main
scientific
interest
are
research
and
development
of
honeybee
products
(propolis,
royal
jelly,
pollen
and
honey),
in
the
collaboration
with
Hedera
Ltd.
She
leads
research
projects
regarding
their
in
vivo
and
in
vitro
effects,
given
as
therapeutics
or
in
feed,
and
as
a
result
of
this,
is
focused
on
the
development
of
ApiotiX
platform,
a
first
animal
to
animal
health
start-up
company
with
many
bee-based
veterinary
therapeutics
and
feed
additives
in
their
portfolio.
She
also
enjoys
working
with
students
in
their
scientific
work.
Her
knowledge
on
health
claims
and
the
importance
of
scientific
evidence
comes
from
the
10-year
experience
in
experimental
pharmacology
&
nutrition,
but
also
the
evaluation of the safety & efficacy part of veterinary medicinal products (VMP) Registration Dossiers.
