Dr. Maria Therese TjernsbekkMaria Therese Tjernsbekk, PhD in Animal Nutrition, is currently working as team leader and analytical service manager for the feed industry at Eurofins Food & Feed Testing in Norway. Her research interests include first and foremost animal protein ingredients for use in pet food and protein quality evaluation. The PhD in Animal Nutrition was awarded at the Norwegian University of Life Sciences in 2016 based on the thesis entitled “Protein quality evaluation of animal protein ingredients applied in extruded dry dog food using mink (Neovison vison) as a model species”.
